All Kitten Around cats are “Adoption Ready” — up to date on shots, FiV/FeLV negative, spayed or neutered, and fully vetted with a clean bill of health. Some cats are also microchipped.

Cats account for more than half of the shelter pets euthanized, most of the time due to a lack of space in the shelter.
Although shelter euthanization rates have dropped drastically over the past few decades, we still have a long way to go to meet the goal of only “No Kill” shelters in the US.
Through education on spaying/neutering and encouragement of “Adopt, Don’t Shop”, we can reach this goal one day in the near future!
Kitten Around Cat Lounge is thrilled to be partnering with several local rescue groups, all of which have a passion for placing homeless cats in desirable homes. The cats that come to us are chosen based on their personalities and temperament. Our partners select the cats they think will do well and be happy in the lounge environment. Our Cat Lounge is essentially a large foster home for these cats — they never belong to us. Each rescue has its own process for handling adoptions.
